Where can I find free menswear patterns?

I would like to make a button down shirt like the ones American Eagle came out with (the 'western' 'camping' 'oxford', etc), of course, i don't want to pay 50 bucks for a shirt, and i enjoy sewing clothes myself, but I also prefer to get a free pattern off the internet, or at least instructions on how to measure or whatever. (cheap i know hehe). So does anybody know where I can get patterns, or step by step instructions?
I've also already been to burdastyle, and I love the website, but not too many menswear patterns, and the one I want costs money.

You might want to splash out for a good men's shirt pattern (Kwiksew are well drafted, as are Burda) -- it's the basis of jacket, sweater and coat patterns, too. Might as well get it right, especially as you like to sew.

You could also do a ruboff of a shirt you currently own that fits well:

Free patterns are generally worth about what you pay for them -- and I say this as someone who's checked quite a few free patterns to see if they'd sew together correctly.
